The new Citrix Workspace app (formerly known as Citrix Receiver) provides a great user experience - a secure, contextual, and unified workspace - on any device. It gives you instant access to all your SaaS and web apps, your mobile and virtual apps, files, and desktops from an easy-to-use, all-in-one interface powered by Citrix Workspace services. Using your mobile and virtualized applications. The Organization is deploying Workspace App for Windows for the users. Some of these users have previously installed the non-administrator (not elevated/per-user install) version of Receiver. Some users are experiencing problems post to installing Workspace App.
The Administrators used Citrix Receiver Cleanup Utility while installing the full administrator version of Workspace App.
Can see the following in the AuthManager logs:

Solution 1:Deleting/resetting the local Windows profile.

If an user installs Citrix Receiver/Workspace App (not elevated/per-user install) and then uninstall it using Receiver Clean-up Utility (running as an administrator/elevated), while the regular user is still logged in and has their profile loaded.

- HKCUSoftwareClassesPROTOCOLSFilter* – Protocol filter handlers

Incorrectly editing/deleting the registry may render your system inoperable - requiring the re-installation of Windows. Please take a backup of the registry key hive before editing/removing keys.

Citrix has replaced the Citrix Receiver with the Citrix Workspace app. In most cases, the Workspace app is backward-compatible, and should not require additional maintenance. If auto-update is enabled on your device, the app should update automatically. You'll notice a blue Citrix icon in your system tray or App Store representing the Workspace app.

The Citrix Workspace app is available for many different types of clients, including (but not limited to) Windows, macOS, iOS (that is, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch), and Android tablets and smartphones, providing a uniform experience across all clients.
